Sutjeska National Park is located at the Eastern part of Bosnia, close to Montenegro border.

Sutjeska initialy became National Park due to historical battle from WW2  – the large stone monuments commemorating the event is still there, at Tjentiste location.

Kozara became protected national forest and national park in 1967. It is located between the rivers Una, Sava, Sana  and Vrbas in the northwest part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It covers about 3.5 hectares of dense forest and hilly meadows of the central part of mountain Kozara.

Kozara is a lovely place to do walking and hiking as well as enjoying the nature. Lisina is the highest peak of the park at just bellow 1000 meters. It offers a panoramic views of the surrounding hills. The Memorial area of the Park, located on Mrakovica, has monument and museum. In near vicinity is Mostanica – an orthodox monastery.
